How it works

A direct route from customer to kitchen.

Comanda sits behind your brand and your website. It helps you take and fulfill orders while keeping the customer relationship with your store.

01 / ORDER

Add ordering to your site

Embed the Comanda ordering widget on your existing website, or link customers to a hosted ordering page.

02 / PAYMENT

Get paid directly

Each store connects its own Stripe account. Payments settle into that store's Stripe balance.

03 / FULFILL

Prepare and dispatch

Orders reach the kitchen display. The store handles pickup or uses Comanda's currently supported courier integration for eligible deliveries.

Comanda does not collect, hold, pool, or distribute customer funds on behalf of stores.

Supported today

The tools needed to take an order and get it out the door.

No future-feature promises. These are the capabilities Comanda supports today.

Online ordering

A branded menu and checkout for orders placed from the store's own website.

Pickup and delivery

Customers can choose the fulfillment method offered by the store.

Supported courier dispatch

Eligible deliveries can be sent through Comanda's currently supported courier integration when the store has an account with that courier.

Age-restricted item controls

Comanda identifies age-restricted items and blocks delivery dispatch when the store has not configured an age-capable courier. The store remains responsible for licensing, verification, and legal compliance.

Kitchen display

New orders arrive on a clear working screen for preparation and handoff.

Admin panel

Stores manage orders, operations, and refunds from their own control panel.

How money works

Store to Stripe. Direct.

Each business uses its own Stripe account. Comanda provides software and does not take custody of customer funds.

The store receives payment

Customer payments go directly into the individual store's Stripe balance. Funds are not deposited into a Comanda account.

Comanda charges no order commission

Comanda does not take a percentage from each customer order.

The store controls refunds

The store issues refunds from its Comanda admin panel or its own Stripe dashboard.

Actions are auditable

Administrative actions, including refund activity, are recorded for operational accountability.

Clear answers

Common business and payment questions.

Is Comanda a delivery marketplace?

No. Comanda provides white-label ordering and delivery software to independent stores. Each store sells under its own brand, controls its menu and prices, manages fulfillment, and keeps its customer relationship.

Where does the customer's payment go?

Stripe processes the customer payment and credits it directly to the store's own Stripe balance. Comanda does not receive or take custody of the store's customer funds.

Does Comanda take a commission on orders?

No. Comanda does not take a percentage from the store's customer payments. Any software fees are handled separately under the store's agreement with Comanda.

Who handles refunds?

The store decides and issues refunds. Authorized store staff can refund an order from the Comanda admin panel or the store's own Stripe dashboard. Each refund action is recorded in the audit log.

Who delivers the order?

For eligible deliveries, Comanda can send the order through its currently supported courier integration when the store has an account with that courier. The store contracts directly with the courier, and the courier performs the delivery.
